The Vice President of Marketing will lead all marketing and communications for Miso. This role requires a candidate who possesses both a high level of creativity and a data driven mindset. You will lead efforts for TV, OOH, performance marketing, organic marketing, social media and communications. We have a high appetite for growth and expectation for Miso to be a beloved household name.

The best candidate is someone who has done both brand and performance marketing. We tend to believe someone who has heavy performance marketing experience can grow into doing brand marketing well. We have much less confidence in the opposite so deep knowledge of performance is a must as this is the foundation of marketing at Miso.

What you will do

  • Build the Miso brand. Work with the founding team to build the Miso brand into one of Korea’s most well known and beloved.
  • Strategic planning. Develop marketing strategies based on strong analytics such as customer acquisition costs, retention, LTV, ROAS, etc.
  • Management and leadership. Lead a growing marketing team, set and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

What you need

  • Prior experience building a brand from unknown to a household name at another Internet company is a huge plus.
  • Performance marketing experience via SEM, Facebook and/or Google/Youtube advertising.
  • Data driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking.
  • High level of creativity and great taste.
