Miso turned 2 years old on August 18 and we wanted to share some of our milestones with you. Our team has a lot to be proud of. We worked extremely hard to serve our customers and cleaners but what excites us now is the position we are in for our long term mission ahead.

We elaborated on our mission when we published “Over 1 million hours booked!” Over 50 million people live in South Korea but the country itself is about the same size as the state of Indiana. Half of Korea’s population lives in the metropolitan area of Seoul. We believe technology + the population density of many cities in Asia provides the opportunity to change the way we live in the physical world.

Imagine if you were able to have your home cleaned on a daily basis as if your home were a hotel. No need to worry about whether there’s enough soap or toilet paper stocked. It’s just there. Your refrigerator is always stocked. It’s possible now for the most affluent 1% but with technology, we can build the scale to make it more accessible at a fraction of the price.

We are currently growing at the pace where it will probably take less than 6 months to do what we did in the previous 2 years. It’s an interesting time to be at Miso and we are looking for people to join us on our mission.
